Meet the Decks and Dice Team

Hello Gamers!

We're excited to introduce ourselves and welcome you to Decks and Dice, a family-friendly game store in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Have questions about our gaming community in Southern Oklahoma? Ask away!

I'm Michael, a 32-year-old who has enjoyed Magic the Gathering for the past five years or so. Alongside two of my brother in-law's Jason and Greg Thompson, we decided to continue the legacy of the store owners before us, to continue to have a space where players of all ages can gather, compete, and have fun.

We have been casual commander players together for the last several years, but we have been dabbling more and more in the standard and limited formats. For us, gaming is about enjoyment, camaraderie, and quality time together. While we can be competitive, having fun is always the priority.

We also could not do what we're doing without the helpful support of our wives and children as we have embarked on this new adventure.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey—friends, family, and fellow gamers who have encouraged us since taking over the store. We’re doing this to share the fun and laughter we've enjoyed as a family with all of you.
